Concerns about US gasoline supplies returned to the fore,as a drop in US stocks sent oil prices higher.A 5.4mn b1 drop in US gasoline inventories in the latest weekly El A data contributed to a rise of over 4/b1 in Atlantic basin benchmark dated BFO to 66.06/b1 and nearly 3/b1 in US marker May WT1 to 66.85/b1.The reversal in US gasoline stocks,from comfortable and building storage levels earlier this year,is once more raising con-cerns that the switch to MTBE-free gasoline could cause difficulties ahead of the peak driving season.
