Sour grades up as turnarounds end

Huge volumes of US pipeline crude Mars traded last week as US refiners wrap up turnarounds and find themselves needing supplies of sour crude.With Basrah Light barely available in the spot market and the arbitrage to move Urals transatlantic popping open only briefly,US refiners have little choice but to pay up for grades such as Mars.
