Oil prices surged firmly back above 60/bl on tighter stocks,weather-driven demand and the dollar's slump.Atlantic basin benchmark dated BFO rose by 5.92/bl to S64.50/bl,while US marker grade WT1 gained 3.61/bl to reach S62.88/bl by 30 November.The El A report of a 1 mn bl fall in US distillate stocks,accompanied by a 600,000 bl fall in gasoline stocks and a 300,000 bl fall in crude stocks,gave the market strong upward impetus in the middle of the week.
