Refinery problems boost Saudi exports

Saudi Arabia has nearly doubled fuel oil exports since last year because of higher domestic heavy crude runs and refinery problems. Exports were close to 170,000 b/d in July-December, against 90,000 b/d for all of 2008 and 140,000 b/d in January-June this year (see graph).
