Vietnamese medium sweet crudes have risen to new highs in term contracts, as buyers struggle to secure increasingly tight supplies. Refiners are trying to meet strong demand for diesel, as well as preparing for a rise in utility demand for direct-burning crudes for the northeast Asian summer.
