Asia-Pacific refinery turnarounds are peaking this month,as China continues its heavier maintenance schedule from the third quarter into October.China and India had heavier third-quarter maintenance than at the same time last year.The intensive Chinese shutdown season during the third quarter turned the country into an active gasoline importer in August and September,pushing regional gasoline margins higher than a year earlier(AGM,17 September,p4).
