The restoration of crude output in the volatile Niger delta could help lift Nigeria's production to around 2.5mn b/d next year.Nigeria's biggest foreign operator Shell lifted force majeure on Forcados exports on 8 October,raising hopes for an increase in crude production in the western delta following a fall in rebel attacks.Raids on oil infrastructure have shut in 477,000 b/d of Forcados and EA output since February 2006.
