Collins leaves Nymex

Nymex president Bo Collins will step down at the end of this month,"by mutual consent",said the exchange.Collins has been president of Nymex since July 2001 and his contract will not be renewed.His three-year tenure was marked by declining volumes in some markets,stop-start efforts to merge with its rival hitercontinentalExchange(Ice),and a problematic launch of new trading technology.
