Crude prices firmed after Opec ministers forged a plan on 28 September to limit output to 32.5mn-33mn b/d, to be finalised at their next meeting in November. The agreement marks Opec's first action to cap production since 2008. The group produced 33.44mn b/d last month, Argus estimates. US light sweet benchmark WTI rose by $2.88/bl to $48.81/bl in the week to 3 October.
