Vietnam markets new crudes against Dated

Vietnam's PVOil will price two new medium sweet crudes against Platts Dated Brent assessments when it begins to market them in July. It is the first time that the firm has shifted away from the 50:50 Platts Minas-APPI Minas formula it uses to price current crude exports. Buyers will be able to submit bids for Te Giac Trang against Dated Brent or a 50pc Platts Minas-50pc APPI Minas formula. But PVOil is likely to restrict bids for Chim Sao to differentials to Dated Brent.
