WTI discount prompts search for alternatives

Crude buyers and sellers are testing alternatives to benchmark WTI to better value imports to the US. WTI has dislocated from other regional crude benchmarks, falling to a record discount of over $18/bl to Atlantic basin marker North Sea Dated on 15 February, from discounts of $1-3/bl at the end of last year.
