Output back at pre-LLibya disruption levels

Opec production rose last month to close to levels seen before the outbreak of civil war shut in Libyan supply. Higher output from Saudi Arabia and Angola helped to push July Opec production to 29.98mn b/d, up by nearly 250,000 b/d on June (see table). Angola's output rose by around 160,000 b/d as BP's Greater Plutonio field restarted after maintenance (AGM, 11 July, p5).
