Amid the ongoing slowdown on the small-tonnage freight market in 1H Sept, owners fight to keep rates stable, and they manage to stand their ground in most regions. The Global CFI has edged down by $0.46/t under pressure of the declining Azov Sea CFI (down $2.47/t). Meanwhile, the BlSea CFI and the Med CFI have showed just a minor decrease of $0.21/t and $0.35/t, respectively, amid stalled indexes in the Baltic and North Seas.
