Lion’s share of Brazil’s soy exports fell on China in May

According to line-up data, Brazil exported a total of 13.3 million tonnes of agricultural products in May, including 10.1 mmt of soybeans and 1.1 mmt of corn. The largest volume of soybeans averaging to some 6.4 mmt was carried to China. The list of other large importers of Brazilian soybeans included Spain (578,600 t), Turkey (384,600 t), Iran (344,800 t), Bangladesh (328,000 t), Russia (211,300 t) and the Netherlands (200,800 t). Iranian buyers will get 342,900 t of corn sourced from Brazil. Also, up to 338,200 t of Brazilian corn will arrive in Egypt and 105,700 t in Spain.
