The already limited demand for small-tonnage vessels keeps weakening in the Black Sea. Market players report fewer grain offers from Ukrainian ports and sporadic shipments of other cargoes, namely steel, fertilizers and minerals. Decreasing congestions and waiting times at Sulina entrance put additional pressure on rates through the improving fleet turnover, therefore, growing number of open vessels, especially for Jan laycans.
