A port workers strike at the Fos and Lavera crude and products terminals in southern France is to continue until at least 13 October. Tankers have been unable to unload crude or load products at the terminals since 27 September. The amount of crude awaiting discharge is rising as more vessels arrive. Around 20 tankers carrying over 14mn bl of crude were waiting to discharge on 8 October. Another seven tankers carrying 4.2mn bl in total are due to arrive by 13 October.
