A counter-seasonal draw last quarter left global stocks 30mn bl down on record levels in September 2009.Onshore stocks of crude and products fell by 1.1 mn b/d in September, the largest draw since December last year. And crude in transit was drawn down by 380,000 b/d to an eight-month low of 459mn bl. The only build was in offshore crude stocks in the Mideast Gulf and Asia-Pacific, which rose by 180,000 b/d, according to shipbrokers Gibson.
