Sweet crudes mowe east and west

North Sea Forties crude is moving transatlantic after sliding to almost a $3/bl discount to US Light Louisiana Sweet (see upper graph). North Sea maintenance priced Forties out of the US market in late July. But the upcoming end of field maintenance is weighing on the grade's value. At least 80,000 b/d of Forties will move to the US in the second half of August.
