Crude prices edged lower in volatile day-to-day trading as a series of weak economic reports raised fears of a double-dip recession. US benchmark WTI was down by $3.56/bl to $72.95/bl in the week to 1 July, while Atlantic basin marker North Sea Dated was down by $3.26/bl to $72.10/bl.
