Prices mixed in volatile markets

Prices were mixed, as changes in refinery operations mainly drove prices. Catalytic cracker and reformer feedstock prices stabilised, even as news of refinery shutdowns surfaced. Valero will shut its 235,000 b/d Aruba refinery in the Caribbean at the end of June, as well as a coker at its 200,000 b/d Corpus Christi refinery in Texas, because of concerns over their profitability.
