Higher refinery runs cut crude stocks

US crude stocks fell by over 20mn bl last month as imports failed to keep up with a hefty rise in refinery runs.US crude inventories are down to 315mn bl after peaking at just over 340mn bl in November,and are at their lowest level since October 2005.Crude runs rose to 15.6mn b/d by the end of 2006,after prolonged refinery maintenance.
