Fuel oil prices continued to chart new highs as Asia-Pacific supplies stayed tight.Middle distillates gained ground as transpacific arbitrage economics improved.But gasoline extended previous losses as a result of weaker demand,and looming northeast Asian cracker shutdowns are keeping naphtha prices under pressure.
