Refining problems limit product exports

Exports of refined products from the former Soviet Union(FSU)fell by 16pc in the first half of 2007,compared with a year earlier.The fall reflected disruptions.to FSU refineries and rising domestic product demand.Demand for refined light product imports fell in the FSU's key export markets in Europe after an exceptionally mild winter left an overhang of distillates in storage tanks.
