Growing product demand is creating a supply shortfall in South Africa's key inland market.And plans are accelerating for new multi-product pipelines from Mozambique and the coastal refining centre of Durban.Motor fuel demand growth is putting increased strains on the country's 523,000 b/d of crude refining capacity.South Africa's refineries are mainly sited in Durban and Cape Town on the coast,but also have to meet growing demand inland,especially in Gauteng province and its main city of Johannesburg.
