Analysts adjust price forecasts lower

Average 2007 Brent/BFO crude price outlooks have fallen slightly since Argus polled analysts at the end of last year.But the spread of forecasts has narrowed as analysts find more common ground.The latest Argus poll of market analysts shows an average Brent/BFO price forecast of 62.79/bl for 2007,a modest fall from December's average of 62.93/bl(AGM,4 December,pi).Some analysts lowered forecasts on the assumption that recent gains will prove to be only a temporary price spike.Others cited a tighter global crude market in upward revisions to price forecasts.
