The measurement of the direction of reactive power in electric circuits comprising harmonic signals

The paper presents the algorithm for determining the flow direction of reactive power when the currents and voltages contain higher harmonics. Presented integration algorithm allows us to derive various digital measuring algorithms, depending on which method for discretizing the calculated integral and derivative is used. The publication presents two exemplary algorithms as well as the results of the simulated tests performed by Matlab-Simulink.
