摘要

This paper presents results of comparative analysis of the electromagnetic torque for the permanent magnet, brushless DC disc-type motor. The Maxwell stress tensor method and the virtual work method are used for torque determination. The influence of boundary conditions of the mathematical model on the correctness value of torque produced by the motor is considered. The way of an integration plane choice for Maxwell stress method is also discussed.
