Diesel exports fall as domestic demand recovers

Chinese apparent oil demand - crude production plus net oil imports - rose sharply in November compared with a year earlier. The increase at least partly reflects crude stockbuilding, which was a consistent theme in 2014 and is likely to remain so this year. It also reflects signs of diesel demand growth, reversing a very weak year for the fuel.
