US crude below $60/bl

Crude prices came under renewed pressure, reaching a fresh set of fve-year lows. Atlantic basin benchmark North Sea Dated dropped by $5.05/bl to $63.54/bl, while US benchmark January WTI fell by $6.86/bl to $59.95/bl. Banoco Arab Medium traded at a premium to the Saudi formula price for Arab Medium. And Abu Dhabi Murban crude moved to a higher premium to Adnoc’s offcial sales prices. Sharp cuts to offcial prices — as producers look to protect their market share in Asia-Pacifc — helped boost spot differentials.
