The European Commission is rewriting draft benchmarks regulation. A leaked early draft has sparked concern in the oil sector, and the energy directorate shares many of the sector's concerns about the draft by the internal markets directorate. Official publication of the legislation was due about now, but has been delayed until later this year (AGM, 7 June, p4).
