Bakken boosted by shutdowns

The suspension of crude production at Canadian NaturalResources’ 110,000 b/d Horizon oil sands upgrading facilityresulted in narrower discounts for light US grade Bakkenrelative to benchmark crudes. This in turn helped support USlight sweet grade LLS. Horizon has been off line since 5February and production is not expected to return to normaluntil mid-to-late March.
