Kosovo issues tender for 100 MW solar power project

Kosovo has issued a tender for the construction of a 100 MW solar park, as part of the country's energy strategy for the years 2022-2031, the Economy Ministry announced. Kosovo is seeking to diversify its energy mix and reduce its reliance on traditional fossil fuels. The solar park project is estimated to cost around €75mn. The chosen location for the solar photovoltaic plant is in the municipality of Rahovec in the west of Kosovo, according to the notice published last week.
