Azerbaijan increased electricity production by 6.5 in January-April

Electricity production in Azerbaijan in January-April increased by 6.5% compared to the same period last year up to 9.8521 TWh, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said on 15 May. Shahbazov wrote on his Twitter account that in January-April, 9.2661 TWh was generated at thermal power plants (94% of total generation), and 586 GWh from renewable energy sources (6% of generation).
