Electricity for households will be 8% more expensive, and gas 10% more from May 1, announced the Ministry of Mining and Energy on March 28, in a statement quoted by local media. Serbia is required to gradually raise electricity and gas prices on May 1 and November 1 this year, and on May 1, 2024 under its stand-by arrangement (SBA) with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
