According to a report by research firm BloombergNEF, global wind capacity additions dropped by 15% in 2022 following two years of record growth.The report found that developers added 86 GW of wind turbines globally last year, with the majority of new wind farms being added on land. Offshore wind installations fell sharply, by 46% compared to the previous year, with only 9.1 GW commissioned.
