Ukraine National Bank predicts 1 GDP growth this year

Ukraine’s GDP growth forecast this year has improved, the Kyiv Independent reported on March 29. The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) revised its January estimation of 0.3% growth to 1% for 2023, citing the rapid reconstruction of damaged energy facilities and increased economic aid. With both the NBU and Ukrenergo foreseeing a balanced situation in the energy sector for the next six months, industries and enterprises will be able to continue operations uninterrupted.
