Allocating 400 million US dollars to Rehabilitate Iron and Steel State Company to produce one million tons of Rehab per year

The Iraqi ministry of Industry has allocated about 400 million US dollars to Rehabilitate the facilities of the Iron and Steel State Company based in al-Zubair district , Basra governorate, to enable the company to produce one million tons of sponge iron , one million tons of billets , one million tons of rebars , according to a statement issued on 13 - 9 - 2009 a copy of which was obtained by Arab steel.
