The year 2007 witnessed yet another step in the growth of Kandil steel in EGYPT reaching the capacity of 600000 Mt of rolled steel after the organic growth and acquiring their main local competitor "GALVA METAL". The company is planning to expand its capacity production to reach 1 mtpy by the year 2010, the company's spokesman has said. In process with suppliers, whose galvanized capacity, according to preliminary data, should be no less than 640,000tpy coming from currently 360,000 tons.
