On the New York Mercantile Exchange (Nymex) at the end of the third full week of January,West Texas Intermediate (WTI) was nudging the US35/b mark for March contracts,before falling by US0.46/b to OUS34.80/b on 26 January.On the International Petroleum Exchange in London,the price of Brent followed a very similar pattern,shedding US0.5/b to US30.45/b that day.
