Libyan crude production has risen to 615,000 b/d,boosting supplies of light sweet crude in the Mediterranean market. Monthly Libyan output has not exceeded 500,000 b/d since January.Exports are on course to hit 510,000 b/d this month(see graph,left).Rising production from the western 340,000 b/d El Sharara and 130,000 b/d Elephant fields,which feed the 220,000 b/d Zawia and 130,000 b/d Mellitah crude export terminals,is behind the increase(AGM,15 August,p5).
