Throughput at Kaiser Reef's Maldon facility in Victoria is expected to double from 2000-2500 tonnes per month following an 18-month program to upgrade the 1980s-era mill, including improvements to the power systems, further underground remote mining fleet purchases, improved ventilation infrastructure, and an upgrade to the SAG mill. The now semi-automated facility will now allow gold to be recovered from newly developed areas in the A1 gold mine.
