Sonatrach Reports a Mjaor Gas Discovery in the Reggane Basin

Sonatrach announced in early October that it had made a major gas discovery in the Reggane basin with the Kahal Tabelbala North-1(KTN-1)well drilledon Block 328h.A provisional assessment puts the volume of gas in place at 17 billion to 23 billon cu m,enclosed in a structural trend that could contain a total of as much as 100 billion cu m of gas.
