US EPA cancels registrations of over 50 pesticide products

The US EPA has cancelled registrations of over 50 formulations based on the herbicides, glyphosate, paraquat and imazapyr, the insecticides, lambda-cyhalothrin, malathion and bifenthrin, and the fungicide, iprodione, among other pesticide active ingredients. The decision follows requests to that effect from the products' registrants. The cancellation has been effective from September 14th, with the Agency noting that no comments on the matter were received during a 30-day public consultation.
