Syria Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with India for Cooperation in the Oil and Gas Sector

On the occasion of the Petrotech 2009 conference in New Delhi, which he attended, the Syrian Minister of Petroleum, Mr. Soufian Allao, signed a memorandum of understanding with his Indian counterpart, Mr. Murli Deora, for the establishment of an institutional framework to facilitate cooperation between the two countries in the oil, gas and chemical sectors.
