Canada proposes registration of Isagro’s microbial ais

The Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has proposed the registration of US agrochemical company Gowan’s Italian subsidiary, Isagro’s, microbial active ingredients, Trichoderma asperellum strain ICC 012 and Trichoderma gamsii strain ICC 080, alongside an end-use biofungicide, Foretryx. The ais are intended for the control of certain fungal diseases affecting crops such as field and greenhouse fruiting vegetables, squash, lettuces, field and greenhouse strawberries, greenhouse ornamentals, and commercial cannabis grown indoors.
