Agco/Hexagon agree expanded precision ag deal

US agricultural equipment manufacturer Agco(Duluth,Georgia)has agreed an expanded deal with Swedish geoanalytics technology provider Hexagon(Stockholm).The agreement will enable Agco to expand its factoryfit and aftermarket guidance offering,it says.The new guidance and auto-steering system will be sold as Fuse Guide on Massey Ferguson and Valtra tractors.Factory-fit options are fitted at point of manufacture.Agco’s Fuse go-to-market director,Mark Theuerkauf,welcomes the new deal.”We anticipate that this agreement will help to increase precision agriculture technology adoption in our growth markets by providing an easy to use and price competitive guidance solution for farmers in more regions,”he says.
