Brazil Anvisa approves tox evaluation for Bayer’s penflufen

The Brazilian national health surveillance agency,the Anvisa,has cleared the toxicological evaluation for Bayer’s CropScience division’s fungicide,penflufen(trade-marked as EverGol).Full approval requires authorisations from the Ministry of Agriculture,which assesses an active ingredient’s agronomic aspects,and the environmental agency,the Ibama,which assesses environmental fate behaviours.
