Corteva brands new herbicide indolauxipyr as Bexoveld

Corteva Agriscience has given the brand name, Bexoveld, to its latest 6-Arylpicolinate (6-AP) herbicide, indolauxipyr. The company anticipates launch of the herbicide in North America in 2028 and Europe two years later. The active ingredient is for broadleaf weeds control. Indolauxipyr is a third-generation 6-AP herbicide, and builds on Corteva’s knowledge from the family of herbicides including halauxifen-methyl (trade marked as Arylex) and florpyrauxifen-benzyl (trade-marked as Rinskor), the company says. The ai breaks down quickly in soil, allowing growers to limit crop restrictions in the following season. Residue levels of Bexoveld and its metabolites are below the limit of quantification in cereal grains, the company notes.
