Studies to Be Carried Out for Connecting the Arab Gasline to the European Network and for Using it in Both Directions

摘要

Following a meeting of the relevant ministers from the countries involved in the Arab Gasline project (Egypt,Jordan,Syria and Lebanon),the Egyptian Oil Minister,Mr.Sameh Fahmy,announced that it had been decided to transform the pipeline system into an Arab network and to connect it to the European network in order to take advantage of possible gas supplies from other producing countries,such as Iraq.
