Tunisia is keen to bring about an increase in hydrocarbon prospecting and exploration activity on its territory and has chosen an original method for achieving that goal.Rather than organizing an international bid round with a single closing date,the General Directorate of Energy (GDE) of the Ministry of Industry has invited interested companies to submit proposals throughout 2007.
